In our arts community, there are organizations that one might call “institutions.” Piedmont Chamber Singers, with three decades of providing quality choral music, would certainly fall in that category. The Singers consistently have attracted impressive talent and conductors and presented repertoires that have delighted audiences. When the Piedmont Chamber Singers were created, the group filled a real void in our arts community. They are a valued member of The Arts Council, and I applaud the contribution they continue to make 30 years after their formation.
